Our Story
As an individual, Stephanie has been helping community cats in Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas through Trap-Neuter-Return for over a decade, purchasing traps and covering spay/neuter surgeries out of pocket.

By 2023, the demand had simply become too high and Stephanie made the decision to form TNR SWVA, a nonprofit focusing on the wellbeing of community cats in Southwest Virginia.

We strive to make a positive impact on the lives of community cats through our Trap-Neuter-Return program. We provide medical treatments, spaying/neutering, and essential care to reduce the overpopulation of community cats and improve their welfare. With the support of our community, our dedicated volunteers are committed to creating a better environment for our community cats.
